DISTINCTION

We got a good news today...

A letter sent by Strathclyde University, where my husband study his Master of Finance, stated the he has fulfilled all the requirements to graduate with distinction.

Alhamdulillah Ya Allah.. All efforts he did through the year are perfect in result..

He is so happy.. I am so happy and my son so happy as well... We are so happy and so thankful to God, who helped us.

Congratulation hubby, I am so proud of you.. Thank you Allah SWT..

My Perfumes

Now lemme share what I love to use as my smell :p

I love this perfumes and has been use it for its first launched...


Yep.. this is Alien from Thierry Mugler.. I really love its strong smell.. my husband like it too... every time I use it my son will smell the same.. hehhehehe, just because I always with him, cuddling, playing, and sleeping together.. :p

Unfortunately I wasnt able to buy the lotion from its line.. I think because they are ran out at that time.. And I end up with the Angel Lotion, still from Thierry Mugler.. To be honest, I kindda like Alien smell than the Angel one.. But doesnt mean I like alien than angel.. LOL...

This following perfumes is gorgeous too.. It was my mom's but I kindda love the smell and she gave it to me.. OOOhhh thank you dearest mom... So I always bring it in my bag. This one is Coco from Chanel. She bought it in Japan years ago when it wasnt launched yet in my country. I can say it more than 5 years ago.. yep 5 years.. she has too many cosmetics, perfumes and toiletries in her shelf... I meant it... So sometimes she forgot to use it.. When she gave it to me I am pretty sure that she wasn't use it that much, probably only one spray... And because of she has too many perfumes when I need one, I usually come to her room and spray one of them to my neck :p



errrr... it's less than half now... please dont finish too soon,, I still need to save (burberry handbags and the origins succesfully made me broke) so there will be no budget for perfumes ... owwwyeaa no worriess,, I still got my alien.. :P

my Origins

I went to Buchanan Galleries to search for a beauty care which serve a facial treatment. I was looking Clinique, Clarins, etc but however I felt in love with Origins...

I drop by to make an appointment for a facial treatment.. Her name is Lola, the Origins beautcian whom did the facial for me... I just loooove the way she explain it and I love love love the smell of the products..

In sum, I couldnt help but buy them right away..

this weeks is the third weeks I use this product and you know what,, it was amazing gorgeous.. That's why I am writing here to share them for you...

My skin becomes smooth, less bumpy, more moisturized and anything I want it..

Shopping in London

OOOhhh I am sooo excited....

two days ago we were in a trip to London.. we went by bus,,yes it's a Mega Bus nightflyer... 7 hours journey from Glasgow to London.. it wasn't so bad since you know I have my 14 months old son with me because he was sleep.. not without a peep but he wasn't fussy at least..

Arrived in London at 6 in the morning.. it was Victoria Coach Station. right after we arrived I broght my son to baby change room to have his nappy changed also his clothes.. after that I gave my son to my hubby and I washed my face in the toilet.
7 am we were at Victoria rail station, its situated not far from the Victoria coach station,,,, just 5 minutes walk. I realized that it was still morning and we still have plenty of time to reach "the destination". so, we decided to have a breakfast in the restaurant hall upstairs.

1 hour journey took us to the place I am excited to. And tralaaaaaaa...... I got Burberry Handbags for me to workwith..yup I mean I got Burberry handbags to sell to you :)

Sambal Goreng Ati dan Ayam Goreng Bumbu Kuning

Hari ini niat banget mau nyobain sambel goreng ati... rencananya sih buat dijadiin bekal di perjalanan ke London.. Maklum malam ini rencana ke London nai nightflyer nya MegaBus... 7 jam dari Glasgo.. berangkat jam 11 malem sampe London jam 6 pagi.. Mudah2an lancar ya Allah... Amien..

Oiya bact to sambel goreng ati dan ayam goreng,, akhirnya berhasil sudah dua masakan itu disiapkan.. tinggal di masukin ke otak makanan aja hehehhehe.. mudah2an para penumpang lainnya gak marah yah pas ita buka bekal makanan kita.. gak pake pete kok.. hehhe...

Oleh Oleh Edinburgh

Wowww..... Alhamdulillah sekali lagi.... Rencana berjalan lancar,.. Sampai di Edinburgh dengan selamat dan tepat waktu... Langsung pesan taksi ke Italian Embassy dan tralaaaaa paspor dengan visa schengen sudah siap ^_^ ah senangnya...

Sehabis ambil visa, kita bertiga menyusuri jalan Princess Street,, gak ada tujuan sih tapi liat Jenners, masuk dulu ah. pingin liat model tas terbaru nya Burberry.. sayang Jenners gak jual handbag nya cuma jual pakaian dan sepatu nya aja... Jenners gak reccomended untuk didatangi karena lift nya yg terpotong potong alias harus pindah pindah lift untuk sampai ke lantai tujuan.. Buat yang gak bawa buggies sih oke ya tinggal naik turun tangga, tapi buat ayah bunda nya qinan hoalaaaaa... kebingungan judulnya :p

Keluar dari Jenners, kita jalan lagi di sepanjang Princess Street lalu sedikit belok ke kiri ke arah St Andrew Square... Mau liat Burberry di Harvey Nichols sapa tau ada... Dan ternyata setelah dikelilingi ternyata gak jual Burberry juga,,waduh... tappi lumayanlah bisa cuci mata liat tas tas terbaru nya Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Tory Burch, Prada, Miu Miu... hanya saja sedikit heran harga nya lebih mahal dari pada di Glasgow... Gak signifikan sih cuma beda GBP 5 sd 10.

Abis itu cuci mata,, kita langsung menuju Jimmy Chung, Jimmy Chung looo bukan Jimmy Choo hehehhee.... Yang satu brand handbag dan sepatu dari London yang satu restoran buffet dari China :p Pas masuk kita tanya.. Excuse me,, do you serve halal meat here? dan mereka jawab,,, yes the chicken is halal... is there any seafood in the buffet? a bit dissapointed karena mereka gak serve seafood.. yah jadi menu kita buffet tapi cuma ayam doang dong... Gapapa lah secara resto nya deket banget sama Princess Station nya.. Jadi abis makan kita bisa langsung pulang tanpa jalan jauh lagi... Alternatif kedua tadinya mau cari fish n chips yang kesohor itu katanya ada di Royal Mile Street tapi gak begitu jelas d. daripada laper trus gak ketemu mending kita makan sini aja kata ayah...

Daaan ternyata,, enak banget hehehe.... puas lahhh dengan resto ini... Ayam nya banyak macemnya.. ada chicken honey, ada sweet n sour chicker, ada noodles ada garlic veg, ada terriyaki chicken dll.. wah Bunda makan banyaaak banget sampe ayah geleng geleng kepala hahahahhaha... kaget liat istrinya makannya sama banyaknya... Qinan juga kooperatif banget... duduk manis sambil makan sambil ketawa ketiwi.... sampe akhirnya dicicipin ayah banana fritters alias pisang goreng,,, udah deh abis itu maunya cuma pisang goreng aja , nasinya udah ga mau lagi.. huhuhuhu...

Seperti rencana tadi selesai makan kita langsung pulang,, bener aja,,, gak sampe 15 menit kita udah di atas kereta.. Glasgow here we comes... :)

Edinburgh

Alhamdulillah... we've been sent an email from Italian embassy saying that our visas have been approved and ready to be collect on September 27 2010, which is..TODAY... horrayyy...

First thing in the morning I should prepare my son's meal then we are off to Edinburgh. Hope everything is running as our plan.. Amin...

So.. im off to cook okay.. :p bye for now..

Photo Session

Yesterday was a photo session-day. It was me, my husband and son, and one of our friend who became the photo models..... We took place in High Street, where there is a big clock hanging in the tall stone. After that we walk through the High Street til we met Aldi Store and I bought some chocolate there. We across the road and heading to north to reach Strathclyde Uni. took some pictures there too. After that we off to the Library called Andersonian Lib where my friend wanted to print her ticket. took some picture too. finally we went to Kelvingrove Museum and stop by at Glasgow Uni then back home cause the weather was so cold..

The Loft Ashton Lane

Yippie,, finally I found a great restaurant in west end it called, The Loft. They are a huge area so we can have our lunch while the children play with the cars provided by the management for them. It's on the second floor, while there is a theater in the first floor. what's great in this theater called,Grosvenor, is that they have a special day which they called Watch with baby.. Yeaa.. So, I can bring Qinan to watch some movie. You know, Ive tried to bring Qinan to watch a movie in CineWorld in the city center but, they dont allow baby to come in. So, I am very happy, though until now I havent got chance to bring him... :p I took some photos too..

West End Festival

It's been months ago when we went to West End Festival.. Sorry, for took long time to post it. There were soooo many people came to see it. We had fun, met some friends there, ate some foods while laid down enjoy the shiny sunshine in grass.

Eid Mubarak

Welll now I know how it feels, celebrating Lebaran's Day in abroad. Overall I am happy, cause God still gives me chance to celebrate it with my new family (meaning : husband and son), while my mother father and siblings are celebrate it in Jakarta. A bit sad cause I always had Lebaran with them. Anyway, it makes me up again knowing that they are all happy and safe in town.

We prayed in Glasgow Central Mosque. then we off to Mbak Ita and Mas Rama's house somewhere around Paisley Road. I took a nice photos when I was there. Here they are...

Jungle in the City

Senin tgl 13 Sept 2010, alias dua hari lalu, Ayah sama Bunda niatin nganterin Qinan main di soft play area dia deket Partick Library.... Seru banget, walau kita harus berhujan hujan ria... Qinan juga hepiii banget... Pulang pulangnya Qinan langsung ganti pjamas soalnya kasian kalo harus mandi lagi,, seharian hujan dan cuaca dingin... Tidurnya jangan ditanya... lelap banget.. Duh lucunya anak bunda hehehehehe... Ini sedikit oleh2 foto di Jungle in the City, Partick, Glasgow.

Pemalas.. eh bukan saya sibuk :p

Wah janji pada diri sendiri kalo mau rajin nulis di blog tidak tertepati... Bayangin aja,,, baru berhasil membuka blog ku ini hari ini, which is terpaut 7 bulan dari my last posting.. pemalas? bukan, saya sibuk . hehehe

Udah banyak banget yang terjadi selama 7 bulan ini.. wajib disyukuri... Qinan sudah mulai makan umur 6 bulan,,, merangkak dan belajar berdiri umur 8 bulan,,, bisa jalan umur 11 bulan,,, tumbuh gigi juga umur 11 bulan,,, di imunisasi PCV, Hib, dan MenC di Royal Infirmary Hospital... Ayah sudah selesai submit 3 projectnya.. Sekarang kami sedang menunggu visa Schengen turun...

Talking about my cookery, Ive been cook so many type of dishes during this 7 months.. Western, European, Chinese, Indian, Pakistan and of course Indonesian food.. Too many dishes til I hardly remember what are they... :p

I think I am also good in baking. I bake ginger bread for my son, and he like it very much... Sultana, honey loaf for his snack instead of give him cake from Greggs.. owyaa, I also baked carrot cake.. I was thinking to sell it but I have no encourage to do so.. hihihihi..

We had a vacation in London, for twice times...Edinburgh, York and Liverpool... St Andrew.. what else... oww did I mention that we are planning to go to Italy, Paris and Spain?? hopefully everything is on schedule..

My mom and dad back to Jakarta on last 16 march. i was terribly sad at that time.. But I can manage it now,,,as long as they are happy and safe, I am happy here no matter how long the distance separate us.. I always pray for them everyday, at least 5 times after my Pray..

Today, is still on Eid celebration.. Eid Mubarak everybody.. :) First day, we went to Central Mosque to have our Eid Pray and off to Mbak Ita and Mas Rama Yusvana house since they did an open house for Indonesia people. we met friends and Indonesian food especially food that you only see in Lebaran, e.g Nastar... :p

Second day of Eid, we went no where since we have had to wait for the landlord, who will checked our flat.

Third day of Eid, which is yesterday, we went to Mbak Nina and Mas Ferry house. we had ketupat sayur, very delicious, soto ayam and gado gado.. very delicious til I can stand to have a fifth plate..

and today... we are planning to bring Qinan to a soft play arena.. He must be very happy.. it's in Partick, 8 gardner street, near the library I used to take him.


So, by for now.. i need to take a bath and prepare Qinan's lunchbox.. see you soonn..

Oven-baked Lamb Chops with Onion and Rosemary Sauce

Hari ini nyobain bikin menu itu.. hihi mudah2an papa mama suka ,, ayah juga sukaaa. aminnn... nih lagi nungguin lamb chop nya di panggang, 45 menit aja deh tar kalo kurang kita tambahin lagi..

Oven-baked Lamb Chops with Onion and Rosemary Sauce

This is simplicity itself – just pop the chops into the oven to bake, and the sauce is easily made. We like to serve this at home with tiny steamed new potatoes tossed in a teaspoonful of lamb fat and some freshly snipped chives, with some young fresh shelled peas or broad beans.

Ingredients
8 lamb loin chops
1 small onion, peeled and chopped
salt and freshly milled black pepper
For the sauce:
1 large onion, peeled and chopped small
1 rounded tablespoon rosemary leaves
1 oz (25 g) butter
1 oz (25 g) plain flour
6 fl oz (175 ml) milk
6 fl oz (175 ml) vegetable stock
2 tablespoons cream, whipping or double
salt and freshly milled black pepper
To garnish:
sprigs of watercress
Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 6, 400°F (200°C).

Method

First of all, place the lamb chops in a shallow roasting tin with the onion tucked around them. Season with salt and pepper then place them on the highest shelf of the oven to bake. How long you cook them for is up to you – I personally don't mind the centres being cooked since I like the skins crisp, but if you like your lamb pink give them 30 minutes, if not, 45 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the butter and sweat the onions over a very gentle heat for 5 minutes. While that's happening, bruise the rosemary leaves with a pestle and mortar to release their oil, then chop them very, very finely and add them to the onion. Then continue to cook gently, uncovered, for a further 15 minutes without letting the onions colour too much. Next, using a wooden spoon, stir in the flour till smooth, then gradually add the milk followed by the stock, bit by bit, stirring vigorously and finishing off with a balloon whisk. Season with salt and pepper and let the sauce barely simmer for 2 minutes, then remove it from the heat, liquidise half of it and then combine that with the rest, along with the cream. Taste to check the seasoning, then pour it into a warmed serving bowl or jug and cover the surface with clingfilm until the chops are ready. Serve the chops with a garnish of watercress and the sauce poured over.

PANGEK DAGING

Kemarin abis nyobain bikin pangek daging dibantu mama... hihi orang palembang bikin pangek daging gimana rasanya ya...

eh pas dicobain ke ayah,, uwaaa katanya enak banget hehehhe... emang enak sih (bukan gr loh) soalnya aku aja ampe nambah .. apa jangan2 karena masakan sendiri yahh...

Tapi senengnya dipuji suami hihihi sampe besokannya masih dipuji berkat si pangek daging :p pangek kan kumasak kau tiap hari kekekeke :p

Hmmmhh... parah banget...

Ayah kuliahnya dari pagi sampe sore, lanjut group meeting sampe jam 10 malem, udah beberapa hari ini kayak gitu terus... kasian ayah.. Makanya bunda jadi semangat buat masak2 dan bawain bekel buat ayah.. supaya ayah makannya teratur..

Hari ini kita gak kemana2.. soalnya kemaren udah jalan jalan ke Primark (again), ke Fraser, Zara, Next, H&M trus Marks & Spencer.

Besok rencananya mau ke Queen's Park, Glasshouse mau ada pertemuan perkumpulan ibu ibu muda hihihi mau bahas baby wrap :) senangnyaa......

Baby Qinan pagi ini sarapan buah pear dan buah pisang diblende habis 3/4 gelas loh hebat.. abis itu langsung bunda mandiin trus sekarang bobo deh.. makanya bunda sempet nulis blog hehehhe..

Wah nesiaputri lagi ol nih, adekku tersayang... mau ol skype-an..hihihihi.. miss u so much dear..

I Love Primark !!!!!!

Hayya...

Hihihi kalo di Glasgow, orang orangnya bilang Hi There dengan Hayya..

Anyway.. Kemaren baru sempet ngepost Day 1 in Glasgow... Hari Kedua di Glasgow, ayah kuliahnya padet dari pagi sampe sore jadi bunda papa mama dan qinan jalan2 dengan berbekal peta yang digambar ayah.. ayah hebat banget ngegambarin peta nya soalnya persis banget dan gak bikin bunda bingung.. hahaha ketauan ayah sering jalan2 :p Pulang pulang taunya ayah udah nyampe duluan di Apartment.. hihihhi... tapi hari ketiga d Glasgow, ada kejadian yg kurang enak :( mama terjatuh saat jalan menuju apartement, tepatnya di sampingnya GOMA Museum.. kejadiannya gini, papa sama mama jalan dan qinan naik stroller didorong papa... Bunda jalan ddepan agak jaug sih soalnya bawa barang barang hasil belanjaan di Sainsburry,, pingin cepat2 sampe apartment.. pas bunda hampir sampai lampu merah GOMA, bunda denger ada teriakan perempuan.. kaget banget pas bunda liat kebelakang,,,mama udah terbaring tertelungkup di jalan. huwaaa bunda panik banget dong,,, papa juga panik,, banyak bule yg ngerumunin ... tapi syukurlah mama gak kenapa2...
sekarang kejadian itu malah jadi bahan tertawaannya papa mama hahahah...

Oiya mau cerita, kalo seminggu disini aku udah jatuh cinta banget sama Primark. Barang2nya bagus2 banget dan murah2 banget hehe itu yg paling penting...

first day in Glasgow

Alhamdulillah...

Itu yang pertama kali terucap ketika Emirates akhirnya mendarat di Glasgow Intl Airport.. 8 jam penerbangan Dubai Glasgow memang sangat melelahkan secara baby Q gak mau bobo dalam pesawat hihihihi... but the flight was smooth. beda bsnget dengan perjalanan Jakarta-Dubai EK0359 yg pas di atas Colombo sekitar setengah jam goncangan terasa keras, diluar jendela pesawat bahkan terlihat petir dan kilatan berwarna merah...

tapi sekali lagi Alhamdulillah sudah sampai :)
